Rahul Dravid - THE WALL of Team India.

Hey People, :-)

After India won The Cricket World Cup, 2011, we were put into watching the T-20, the short & fast format of the game. But surprisingly, the viewership for T-20 declined drastically this year, may be because we had been watching a lot of Cricket lately even before The World Cup. The viewership had reached its Marginal Utility of watching the game. Cricket was going on since almost many months & the players remained away from their home almost half the year.

Team India & the viewers needed a small break from Cricket & this was proved when even the Intensive & impulsive format T20 failed to drag the required viewership on television as well as in the stadium. Reports also said that the viewership stats were at "All Time Low". But, every Cricket lover was waiting for the Test Cricket to begin & India v/s England game was on its way then.

Sachin drew high hopes from India & the world as usual. Yuvi & Gambhir were hit by critics in the T20 & were making news of being unfit. Dhoni, the Super Hero who finished the WC in style was also drawing high hopes from his fans for this Test Cricket game. Sachin eyed a 100th ton at The Lords against the English team. His fans were waiting to see him raising his bat for the 100th time at The Lords. Imagine what a rare view it could have been if Sachin had hit a 100 at The Lords.

We all had a lot of hopes from all the players who shined in the WC. But no one really remembered another BIG NAME. THE WALL - Rahul Dravid. Of-course a true cricket lover had a lot of hopes from Dravid. That's because Rahul Dravid defines test cricket & batting in his own way. He has his own style & art of playing the game & the test cricket support his abilities to the greatest extent. 

 

Dravid scored a 100 at The Lords when we all were expecting Sachin to do that. He climbed to the 2nd place in the list of Highest Runs scorer surpassing Ricky Ponting. And now, Dravid was the only player who drew all the hopes of the viewers for at least Drawing the game. But we lost in spite of his 100. One reason I can find behind the loss is excess cricket being played. Prominent players like Zaheer, Raina, Sachin, Dhoni, Gambhir, Yuvraj, Praveen & few other players were away from their homes from almost months together. Injuries & fitness problems was most probable. Shewag remained out & he really did good by opting out of the series.

Dravid proved again that he is the WALL of Team India. When almost whole of the team under-performed, Dravid tried the most for saving the game & he was successful to the great extent. But we lost it. :( Hopes again raised high when the bowlers of TeamIndia restricted England Team to 220+ total. But, we saw the worst Batting Collapse of Indian Team where in Broad earned a hattrick & India lost 5 wickets for 20 runs in a TEST MATCH.  We missed scoring a nice Lead & our innings ended up at 270-280.

This can happen only with Team India. There was a game where Yuvi hit SIX 6's of Broad's over & yesterday our team offered a sweet revenge to him where the whole middle order collapsed in minutes & tail-enders followed too. But Dravid scored a 100 again :-) The game is still going on and hope we win this time. :-)

A true Cricket Lover always loves The Test Cricket Format. And Players like Rahul Dravid, Sachin, Laxman, Zaheer are the one whom we can blindly rely on in such a format. Hope to see them shining. :-) Wishing Team India all the success. :-)

Bade Acche Lagte Hein. Pata nai Kisko ?

"The Parvati" who was once referred as "Om ki Parvati" during the Saas Bahu Serials Era, made her come back in yet another Saas Bahu type serial - Bade Acche Lagte Hein. Few years ago, Ekta Kapoor, Tulsi Mihir Virani & Parvati Om Agarwal ruled over the TV sets of every house. And those days are back again with Bade Acche Lagte Hein.

This time, Parvati gets a new name - "Priya". This Priya seems to be in love with some Ram Kapoor. :P JOKE ! Ekta Kapoor shows so much of trust in this Ram Kapoor. Ram Kapoor is trying to be a Angry YOUNG man. (Well, not so young) :P He is already richy rich. He has some big Ultra High Comfort car, he uses awesome tech gadgets & he also seems to have a big business which keeps on creating fortune for him. He is totally a Celebrity Banda :P Vade log...! But in spite of being a celebrity he is full on lattu on Parvati Agarwal. He carries vegetables for her. :P  

Where as, Priya (Parvati) is a teacher. She has full on Attitude :P Bhaav khati hai :P She knows that a big business man is lattu behind her :P so this is where her attitude comes from.. :P Her attitude seems to be disturbing our new Celebrity Banda Ram Kapoor. :P  Please for god sake don't ask me how they fell in love. :P Celebrity bande hein bhai ;-) kuch bhi ho sakta hai. ;-)

So this serial is yet another family drama which has adversely affected my life. :( Mom doesn't let me watch Chota Bheem & CID or any news or Cricket. :( I don't know how such serials create impact on each n every family. :( So its all over for people like me who are not interested in such serials. Our Moms wont be allowing us anymore to watch our favorite programs. This is so inhuman :( i'm staging protests to fight against Ekta Kapoor serials. Even i have a right to watch my favorite shows Chota Bheem & CID :)

I cannot expect govt. to take necessary steps to see that such Saas Bahu serials are not shown on TV. :P So i'm staging a protest against my mom, Ekta Kapoor, Parvati Agarwal & all the saas & bahus of India. :P 

If you guys are also facing the same problems at your home, plz do join me in the protests. Hame Insaaf chahiye ;) raise your voice. Aur kitna chup chaap baithenge hum log. Aam Aadmi har bar kyu sahe yeh sab. :P :P Aawaz do.. hum ek hein! :P :P

In other news, Tulsi Mihir Virani entered politics & lately she was in news for getting a seat in Upper House of Parliament. She will surely mint some serious money in her new field. ;-)

A "LIFE" within the "LIKE" button.

Facebook, the place where people are now spending most of the time of their LIFE has easily become the top social media site. It registers billions of hits every day. Kids use it for games, teenagers use it for chat and other fun, social media houses use it for spam and to spread news, Professionals use it for business purpose in form of Official Fan Pages and others use it to get connected to the school / college friends & relatives in their 50s and 60’s. Another breed of people uses it for their personal interests. Ex: Kantilal Godbole :P LOL.

This is how Google Plus will help ACP Pradyuman.

Jab Google + launch hua tab aisa laga ke CID Inspector Daya ( G+) ne phir se darwaza todd diya aur Mujjrim (FB) ko tamacha maara.. :P  This was my 1^st thought when I signed in to G+ for the 1^st time :D lets see what advantages did G+ take over FB, where FB failed big time. Google Plus opened its doors on 30^th of June.

Every day we come across so many viruses and spam on facebook and this is where G+ has an upper hand. G+ looks spam free and viruses free as of now. There is no virus shit at all :-) There are no stupid applications like “I’m 70% in luv today” or the “Pillow Fights”… G+ has a clean & elegant interface with various Friends Grouping options and the “Hangout” which is simple to use. You can enjoy Video Conference, Voice Chat, Text Chat and also share Youtube videos with the whole Circle of friends together under the “Hangout” interface. Its really gonna be an addictive thing for those who love social networking.

Iska matlab hai ke ab ACP Pradyuman CID bureau me baithe baithe cases solve kar sakte hein :P  The “Hangout” thing will really be what is called as Real Life sharing :-) On the other hand, the photo sharing interface looks elegant too. Link the Picasa album and you there :)

Why do I expect G+ to be hit…. Here are a few reasons..

We all are already too much dependent of GMAIL for email & chatting. So you now have a more useful way of passing on the information. Create a Circle for your office mates and share the important files and documents directly with all your office mates in a single click. What more, you can also take a back up of the data you share on G+ :-) Iska matlab hai ke CID ka Senior Inspector Abhijeet aisa nahi bol sakta ke “ Sir, mujhe aapka mail mila he nahi “ ;-)

Another awesome feature of G+ is the Live Stream you follow. Here, you can follow the stream of your desired Circles and avoid unnecessary updates. Iska matlab hai.. agar ACP Pradyuman Andheri ke Criminal ka case solve kar raha hai toh sirf related updates he milenge. :-) Ease of work !!

You also get a gmail chat list on Google +. It means, even if your friends are NOT on G+, u can still chat with them and share your updates with them on your G+ which will directly go to their mail box :-) Iska matlab hai Doctor Salukhe bol nahi sakta ke “Sir, mein aapke bureau me nahi sirf mere laboratory me kaam karta hoon.. toh mujhe Lab me baithe hue pata nahi chalta ke CID Bureau me kya kaam chal raha hai :P

Please also note that you can do a FEW of above things on facebook too.. But, will it not be more easy and help full if you get everything under a same roof. So we can say that, our over-dependence on Gmail will keep us tuned to Google Plus too. :-)

The only thing where facebook has the upper hand is the facebook FanPage. Google + does not allow you to create such fan pages, the simple reason being, to avoiding spam and viruses and useless application.

So in short, Mark Zuckerberg Bhaiyaa ki full on lagne waaali hai. :P :P  Reports also say that, lately, 10 Millions of facebook accounts in US were shut down in last 2 months.

In other news… China is already blocking Google + :P

Thats my short review on G+ :-) You might be currently experiencing that Google + is not so useful. My answer to this would be, you still don’t have all your friends on Google +. Let all your friends join. Its gonna be fun at G+. :-) If you are not on G+ yet, drop ur gmail id to me on twitter or my FB inbox. Will do the favours ;-) :P LOL
